Who is responsible
North Star Shisha Lounge is responsible for personal information collected through this website. You can contact the venue at 67 Thorney Mill Road, Iver, SL0 9AH, by emailing info@northstarshishalounge.co.uk, or by calling 01895 442128.
Information we collect
When you send a table request, the website asks for your name, email address, phone number, preferred date and time, number of guests, and any message you choose to provide. If you select Custom event, it also asks you to describe the occasion in your own words. The enquiry records whether you accepted the terms and conditions, the version you accepted and the submission time. You can separately choose to opt in to occasional email news and event updates. Technical security information may be processed to prevent spam or abuse.
Why we use it
The information is used to respond to your request, discuss availability, plan the requested table or occasion and protect the form from misuse. Sending the form does not create or confirm a reservation.
Optional event emails
Marketing consent is optional, separate from the enquiry and unticked by default. North Star will not treat submitting an enquiry as permission to send marketing. If an email list is introduced, only people who made the optional choice will be added, and every marketing message will provide a way to unsubscribe. Until that system is introduced, the enquiry email simply records the customer’s stated preference.
Service providers
The website is intended to be hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare Turnstile may be used to identify automated submissions. An email delivery provider may process the enquiry so it reaches the North Star team. Google Maps is embedded on the Visit page and may receive technical information when that page loads.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, manage the proposed event and meet any legal or accounting obligations.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal information, and to object to certain uses. Contact North Star using the details above to make a request. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
Cookies and local storage
This website does not use advertising pixels. Cloudflare Web Analytics may be enabled after deployment to measure page views and performance without using cookies; Cloudflare states that this service does not collect or use visitors' personal data. Cloudflare security services and the embedded map may still process technical information under their own policies.
Updates
This notice may change when the booking system, analytics, email provider or website features change. The date at the top will be updated when that happens.
